She plans to turn it into a rug?! I'm not sure what else you'd do with it, but somehow that seems weird to me. Then again, taking an eight-year-old bear hunting seems even weirder.

Probably makes for great show-and-tell, though. I'd hate to be the kid after her. "Uh, this is, uh, a cool rock I found down by the river."
